A postgraduate in Political Science and a retired Canara Bank officer with 37 years of service. He looks after the Trust’s day-to-day activities, having worked closely under Justice Dr. M. Rama Jois. A writer on jurisprudence and Bharatiya knowledge traditions, his talks have been broadcast on All India Radio.

President · Former Member of Parliament
Former Member of Parliament. A Member of both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, and a lifelong educationist and philanthropist. In 1974 he founded the Sri Kottala Basaveshwara Bharatiya Shikshana Samiti at Sedam, which today runs institutions from nursery to professional colleges, alongside a school of music, a medical centre, and allied bodies.

Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka
Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka. A retired IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre who was instrumental in the Trust’s early years. He served as Deputy Commissioner of Shivamogga and Kalaburagi; Commissioner of Agricultural Marketing, Housing, Transport, and the BBMP; Principal Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary across several departments; Advisor to the Chief Minister of Karnataka; and Chairman of the Karnataka Panchayat Raj Delimitation Commission.

Senior Advocate
A Senior Advocate (designated 2021) and University Gold Medalist in Jurisprudence. He began at the Karnataka High Court in Bengaluru and now practises before the High Court bench at Kalaburagi and the Supreme Court, in constitutional, civil, taxation, and public-law matters. He has represented bodies including the High Court of Karnataka’s registry, the Sports Authority of India, RGUHS, KERC, and KPTCL.
Other Trustees
An entrepreneur and educationist based in Kalaburagi. As President of the Hingulambika Education Society, he oversees an Ayurvedic Medical College, a B.Ed. college, and a high school, with a focus on academic standards and traditional systems of medicine.
A farmer, former teacher, and social worker from Martur. He donated half an acre of his own land for the construction of Vijnaneshwara Bhavana — the ground the research centre now stands on.
An economist and former Chairman of the Department of Economics at Gulbarga University, with a long career teaching and guiding research in development economics and public policy.
A historian, archaeologist, and epigraphist — Senior Professor of History and Archaeology at Tumkur University, former Registrar (Administration) of Karnataka Sanskrit University, and All-India President of the Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana.
An educationist and social worker from Kalaburagi, and founder of Prakruti School (nursery to Class X). He was active in relief work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A medical practitioner, farmer, and social worker from Martur who has long provided rural healthcare. He served as President of the Martur Gram Panchayat, working on local infrastructure, sanitation, and welfare.
A legal practitioner based in Bengaluru, handling civil, constitutional, and commercial matters before various courts, and active in legal-awareness work.
Represented by its President. A Dharmic organisation devoted to the philosophy and Smriti of Maharshi Yajnavalkya and the relevance of Bharatiya thought today — a fitting custodian, given that the Mitakshara is itself a commentary on the Yajnavalkya Smriti.
